Alafia! Today is the first day of the  month of March. Spring is almost here and time to come out of the slumber of winter and give Osun’s magic a chance. In some cultures around the world, its the time to celebrate New Years, new life, new awareness, set new intentions and connect with gratitude to all that we’ve experienced and celebrate love.

This is a a great opportunity to hold space to connect with our emotions even when we don’t have the words to describe what we are feeling. Osun is the energy that lives inside of us and vibrates in the world as unconditional love, compassion, creativity, imagination, inspiration, magnetism, charisma, and the resilience that lies within us.

 Osun rewards those who have faced situations or people who did not reciprocate their  kindness, loyalty, honesty or love. Osun blesses  them with her grace, and the power to draw those who are ready and capable of sharing her magic with you.

We came into this life as perfect drops of love and divinity. Do not allow past external experiences and perceptions of inadequacy and fear to devalue the perfectly created divine being that you are.

Call on the strength and courage to forgive, give thanks for the challenges that in retrospect have brought you clarity that no one can change your destiny.

Give yourself permission to choose to step into a refreshed self image that reflects your true value, beauty and divine essence. Honor yourself this month by treating  your self as a treasured loved one by saying kind words to yourself that are uplifting, enlivening enlightening and loving. Remember that our sense of self worth influences our perception, inner dialogue and creates how we perceive and manifest our daily life.

Here is a simple ritual to enhance and enliven her energy in your home, relationships, and all other aspects of your life.

Create a sacred space by putting a table in your home covered with a gold or yellow cloth. Put a mirror, a glass of water, a fan, a bowl of honey. If you are trying to harness the spiritual connection to her, then set your table in the southwest corner of the home. If you are wanting to harness her energy for mundane things such as a job, money, business then set the altar in the North corner of the home 

At least once or twice a week, sit at the altar and meditate as you visualize yourself sitting at the bank of a river.
