About this event

The International Institute of Afrikan Studies & Knowledge, Inc. is offering a powerful ancestral and healing workshop to your community. This is an opportunity that will allow people interested in ancestor reverence to begin or continue the process of acknowledging and invoking their ancestors with teachings from our traditional African systems.

Embracing Your Ancestral Practices on Eventbrite

December 3rd , 4th & 5th, 2021

In-person (Charlotte, NC – limited space available) or virtual!!

This workshop is offered exclusively by Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade and her trained priests.

Instructors: Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade, Iyalorisa Efunlayo Maxey, Olorisa Oyabunmi De Rosario, Olorisa Osalami Omisoore.

You will learn :

1. The history of ancestor shrines.

2. The connection between ancestor reverence and mediumship.

3. The importance of genealogy and knowing more about your ancestors.

4. Spiritual bath making and herbs sacred to the ancestors.

5. You will experience Reiki’s healing energy and have the opportunity to connect with the ancestral realm.

A total of 7 hours of training and experience.

But that’s not all! These additional services will be available at special discount prices:

a) Roots reading/ancestral lineage readings

b) Regular merindilogun readings.

c) Reiki Healing certification.

Fee: $97.00 for the general workshop session (a total of 7 hours of training & experience).

Optional services:

• Roots readings $100.00 (regular price $125.00).
• Regular meridilogun readings $75.00.
• Reiki Level 1 training $125.00 (regular price $150.00).
• Reiki Level 2 training $225.00 (regular price $250.00).

Each reiki level includes 6 hours of training. Three hours will be offered live during the workshop weekend. The additional three hours are scheduled for the following week.

Friday, December 3rd:

7:30 pm to 9:30 pm: Opening Session

Saturday, December 4th:

10:00 am to 11:30 am: General Session

12:30 to 4:30 pm: Private reading or Reiki Level 1 part 1 training

Sunday, December 5th:

10:00 am to 12:30 pm options

1:30 pm to 4:30 pm options

c) Reiki Level 2 part 1 of 2 (total 6 hours training part 2

4:30m to 7:00 pm: Closing Ancestral Healing Reiki Circle
