08 Jan Honoring Elegba Esu During the Month of January
Alafia, Peace and Blessings my beloved friends.
As we begin to walk, discover, connect, nurture the divine in you and discover new ways of being, knowing and sharing this new year 2026, lets take the time required to honor the energy of Esu, Elegba.
The month of January is the cycle we commit to setting intentions, receiving our personal annual forecast, receiving insights and readings from the Spiritual forecast performed by Iyalode Yeyefini and her team of priests. for the World, The USA and The Diaspora.
Rituals that are prescribed in the readings gives us tools to assist us in adjusting the new influences of the various forecast. This Year Oya is bringing us an opportunity to go within and connect to the developing of our spiritual knowledge to share and use with others.
We honor Esu this month of January to give him thanks for the many doors that will close and open for us as a way of choosing spirituality to guide us. Some people may lose their jobs, financial security, health, relationships, however these drastic changes will encourage and give courage to recognize the benefits of the shifts. This is a time to connect with what brings you new ways of being. Many can open new businesses from what you may have considered unfulfilling careers of the past as you open to the new powerful energy you forgot you had. Trust your insights, intuition and determination to be successful and find peace in your life.
Elegba/Esu’s number is 3,11,21. His colors are a combination of red, black and white. Those interested in setting a sacred space in your home or business place for attracting his blessings can place a dried brown coconut on a plate painted red and black at your door

My hope for you this year is for you to find what connects with your soul and honor it.
