Ose meji: Needle carries the thread, great influence.
Obara’di : The dog has four feet but travels only one road.
Ejionle’bara : He who swallows the bone, pleases the throat.
Ebos/ Rituals:
- Bathe in honey to inspire and fortify your immune system and allow new birth of things.
- Set up an Ancestor altar. Give your Ancestors a gift of African art such as a carved mask, cloth, etc. This is to tie us back to our history.
- Dry 9 whole okra and place in a bowl in your home for protection from destructive storms.
- Bless your head, get head feedings, and aura cleansings.

Recommendations:
- Cleanse the home with saroeko, sprinkle around the home to calm and eliminate negative phenomenon whenever you feel strange things in and around yourself, your children, and home.
Note: (add recipe for saroeko, cook cornmeal add milk or water. Add efun, shea butter, coco butter, and sprinkle around your home.)
- Catch and bathe in rainwater and sprinkle around the house.
- Get African drums for the house and play for your Ancestors.
- Strengthen your mediumship skills and get training.
- Pay attention to your dreams, write them down to discern the message.
- Be mindful of saying, “Spirit told you to do something,” when it is actually your Ego.
- Wear white often in honor of Obatala.
- Be obedient, follow the advices from Spirit.
- Don’t leave your customs.
- Respect natural phenomenon don’t look directly into things like eclipses.
- Take care of your intestines and your legs.
- Honor Obatala understanding that the way to solve a problem is to come from a place of peace and understanding.
- Be careful of losing your job due to strange occurrences. Secure your position and or find ways to make extra money.
- Be mindful of jumping over holes. Don’t wear polka dots.
- Take care of your womb.
- Care for your Ancestors, consecrate your Ancestor pot. Sit with the Ancestors regularly on a specific day. Consider getting a roots reading. Find out your family’s totem animal.
- Host community Ancestor celebrations. We’ve gotten distracted and lost our way. We need to come back to our traditions and remember where we came from and what we are working towards.
- Learn and teach the significance of your ritual practices.
- Call on the African descendants’ ancestors, tap into them. Do more elevating. The Ancestors are saying, “we can do more.” We will need to call on them for everything.
- Study your genealogy, take classes to know your people.
- Take classes, teach classes on African history. Own books that help us connect with our positive history; stand in our power and confidence.
- Clean off daily with different items like eggs, bread, meat, and beans.
- There will be many deaths this year, honor your Elders.
- Prepare your Living Will and be specific.
- Do daily rituals at your Ancestor shrine.
- Families are advised to get readings for everyone including your children.
- Be mindful of children’s behavior, they may be influenced by negative spirits.
- Be mindful of drug use, and self-mutilation, care for your children.
