Are you living your true destiny Are you living with passion Are you living an abundant life Are you living in gratitude Are you living in alignment with your purpose Is love the end goal of all of your actions These are some of the questions I perhaps  unknowingly asked myself at nights as I drifted off to sleep confused and perplexed about my life. At 19 years old I found the answers to some of the questions. As a sophomore in college I was desperately seeking clarity, joy, self, confidence , forgiveness as I tried to dream bigger than my circumstances. I had my first spiritual reading done in New York City . My life took a sharp turn into actualizing the things I  never thought I was worthy of having and being During the month of June at the( IIASK.Inc) International Institute of African Studies and Knowledge. Inc, we  honor Orunmila/ Ifa, the wise sage, prophet, of Olodumare. He is the keeper of our  divine Odus (scrolls of our life). He was present when we knelt down to choose our destinies, purpose, parents and tolls in life. We are half way through the year 2021 as we reflect and slowly try to regain a sense of normalcy after the Covid Universal time out. Perhaps you are asking for answers to deep questions, re-starting your life after loss, sadness and set backs. Or perhaps you are one of  the many who were able to rise to a higher vibration of frequency and are enjoying an even better life than before. I like you, have been blessed to have had supportive  family, community collaboration and wonderful colleagues, many  priests, priestesses and friends to encourage and support me as I continue to strive to be a higher resonance and frequency of my purpose on earth. Please join me as we celebrate Father’s Day, our destinies and Orumila’s role in our life. I give thanks to our illustrious elevated  ancestors for blessing each one of us with our Ancestral memories, the spiritual practices which gave them faith during their struggles. We strive to be better as we call on the strength of community, our elders, faith and Spirit to be the expression and hope of God/Orisa/Source/Universal Principles This is a great time to review your New year readings, our  Itas, Odus, past spiritual prescriptions as you strive to make this the best year ever for you, each other and our divine planet. I invite you to take some time this month to reflect on how you found your way into spiritual journey, your faith or your spiritual practice. Create a sacred space for meditation, add a glass of water, light a white candle, offer fruit or cooked foods to the altar to you make a stronger connection to praise your Ori/Seat of your destiny. Give thanks for all of the experiences that brought you to find your spiritual tribe.
