As we walk away from 2021 with grace and gratitude for the many blessings, abundance, lessons, disappointments regrets and even losses of loved ones, friendships, relationships and more … let’s remember that it’s not about anyone else’s perception but our own . When we take responsibility for our own actions good or bad we lighten our load of regrets and welcome gracefully our self directed evolution. This year for me was a year of lessons, rewards, revaluations, reminders of my Odu, my Ita and what I came back on earth this incarnation to do, be and have
Walking this earth as a physical reminder of God’s omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent power can be  easy or hard based on our perception of who we really think we are.
I am so very grateful and humbled to be a practitioner of the dignity of our ancestral ways. This is the only faith where access to questioning god’s voice is readily available immediately. Divination, meditation, incantations, ceremony and ritual have given me a safe place to rest my head after cruel, challenging painful experiences this year. After 53 years in this faith and 50 years as one of Obatala’s tools as a priestess, I bow to all of god’s expressions. Thank you my friends for the love and opportunity to do this work.
