03 Nov Honoring the Month of November
This is the season of Celebration, Anticipation and Recalibration
Here are rituals for Oya and Osun:
Baths for Osun to assist in building a romantic, sensual, captivating energy of self, as you share with those in your life.
BATHS
Relieving Blocked Mental State
When there is unfulfilled longing for the past; regrets of
missed opportunities, and inability to overcome grief of a
loved one. Make a bath of honeysuckle flowers, 5 roses,
5 tablespoon honey, 1/2 cup dried/fresh lavender flowers
Continually say your affirmations as you prepare and
during your bath,
“Longing for the past is fear of the
future.”
Removing Pain
When great emotional strain, impatience and
restlessness accompany physical pain. This aids in
relieving inner tension, sudden outbreaks of rage, and
self-destructive impulses. Use cherry/plum flowers and
impatiens “I am poised, I am at peace, my greatest
expectations are revealed in a loving, miraculous way”
Relief from Dwelling in the Past
When dwelling in the past and indulging in wishful
thinking, and blocked creativity, indifference and
daydreaming. Mix clematis flowers and honeysuckle
essences and soak in a bath on the full moon. “Being
graceful, assured, creative, and forceful is my greatest
hallmark.
Proverbial Inspiration
“Ears don’t pass the head … respect your elders.”
Merindelogun Proverb 8:6
“But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth
the praises of him who hath called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light.”
I Peter 2: 9
Cleansing Ritual
Find your best celebratory CD and while cleaning out
your house, dance like your life depended on it. Celebrate
how amazing you are and how amazing you always will be.
